Weapons used by the 101st Airborn Division in Brothers in Arms.
[edit] Rifles
- M1 Garand - the standard issues service rifle for the US Army during WWII. It was .30 cal (.30-06),semi-automatic, self-loading rifle that held 8-rounds in an internal magazine.
- M1 Carbine - a lightweight semi-automatic carbine, that fired a .30 cal pistol round instead of the .30-06 fired by the Garand.
- M1903 Springfield rifle - Was a standard issue, bolt-action rifle for American troops in WWI. Although replaced by the M1 Garand in 1936, it saw service throughout WWII as a reliable and accurate sniper rifle.
[edit] Submachine Guns
- Thompson - was a submachine gun that fired a .45 calibre pistol round, same as used in the Colt 1911 pistol, in 20 or 30-round detachable magezine. It could be fired in the fully or semi-automatic mode.
- M3 Grease Gun - this submachine gun fired the same .45 caliber pistol round as the Thompson submachine gun in a 30-round detachable magezine in fully automatic mode only. It was lighter and more compact than the Thompson, making it very useful for airborne forces.

- Browning .30 cal - a .30 cal light machinegun that fired the same round and the M1 Garand and was widely used by the US Army and it's Allies during WWII.
[edit] Anti-Tank Weapons
- Bazooka - was the main anti-tank weapon used by US infantry in WWII. The bazooka fires a rocket propelled high explosive anit-tank (HEAT) round and was effective agains most light to medium German armor.

- Mk 2 Grenade - a fragmentation gernade that was widely used by the American forces During WWII.

[edit] Rifles
- Kar 98 - was a bolt action rifle that was standard issue to German infantry in WWII. It fired the 7.92x57mm Mauser round from a 5 round internal magezine. Five rounds could be quickly loaded using a stripper clip or individually loaded one at a time.
[edit] Submachine Guns
- MP 40 - a submachine gun used by the German Army in WWII. It fired a 9mm pistol round in a 32-round detachable magazine.
- FG 42 - semi-automatic or fully automatic rifle that was designed for and deployed by German airborn forces or Fallschirmjäger. The FG 42 fired the same 7.92x57mm round as the MG 42 and the Kar 98 in 10 or 20-round detachable magazine that attached to the side of the weapon.
- Stg 44 - is considered to be the first, true assault rifle. It fired a shorter version (7.92x33mm) of the round used in the Kar 98, FG 42, and MG42. The design was intended to combine the traits of a rifle with those of a submachine gun.

- MG 42 - the main German light and heavy machine gun used by the German forces from 1942 to 1945. It fired the 7.92x57mm Mauser, same as the Kar 98, and could reach a rate of fire of 1200 rounds per minute.
[edit] Anti-Tank Weapons
- Panzerfaust - was a shape-charge, recoiless anti-tank weapon used by the Germans toward the end of WWII. It was highly effective against all by the heaviest armor, however it had an extremely short range.

- Model 24 Stielhandgranate - a fragmentation gernade used by German forces throughout the war. It's distinguishing charateristic was a long, wooden handle that was attached to allow for a greater throwing range.
